Lester and Ruth will lead Maggie and Minnie Gulches in the Silverton area this Friday, Oct. 14th. Rating is a 3 /4 on a scale of 10. If interested, meet at the Visitor’s Center in Ouray at 9:30am. Have a full tank of gas, water, lunch, snacks, etc.

Meet at the Redlands Safeway at 8:30 am. Plan to leave by 9:00 am. This will be a 12 mile dirt road to the trailhead. Then a 1.5 easy hike to the first arch.

CJ Run, Moab
Oct 15 @ 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

There will be a CJ only run held in Moab. Meet at 9:00 am at the start of 7 mile rim trail.

Running Rubidioux to see if it is all clear from trees and as a clean-up run. Meet at City Market North at 9:00 am. Full tank of gas, water, snacks and lunch. Ensure to have PPE incase there are trees to move.

Meet at the small staging area at the Moab end of the Dewey Bridge, South side of Highway 128. This is also the usual starting point for Top Of The World.
Plan to leave at 11am.
Expect to have lunch somewhere along the route or at the Overlook.
Trail is mostly easy, Out & back, 18 miles each way, about 5 hours round trip.

Could depend on Weather.
